Most days, I feel like I'm absolutely nowhere.

Dear Disney Institute Facilitator,

No, your Mac is not “sensitive” to certain projectors. No, our equipment did not “crash” your Mac. No, it is not “ironic” that your Mac never crashes, but somehow did yesterday when you were connected to our projector for eight hours. And no, our projector did not somehow give your Mac a “virus”.

See that little cable? That’s VGA. Stands for video graphics array. And it’s a one-way, analog connection. Meaning, the projector is sending absolutely NOTHING to your computer.

How about you take responsibility and admit that your computer took a dump at the worst possible time, as most technology often chooses to. How about you admit that, despite its best efforts, the company you work for, and their respective equipment, is not perfect.

There’s no need to demean your AV technician, or imply that our equipment or work is somehow inferior, when all of that has nothing to do with the hiccup you encountered yesterday.

User your brain, grow up, and spend thousands more next time for a video switcher, an in-room tech, and a fully synced backup to prevent this horrible disaster from ever occuring again.

Thanks! </rant>
